Kids Help Phone promises that all calls, online chats and online posts received are anonymous and confidential. Anonymous means that you don’t have to give anyone your name, address or phone number. Kids Help Phone doesn’t have caller ID, so they can’t track your call. Confidential means it’s just between you and the counsellor, no matter what. Their service is about helping you, not spreading your secrets around.

KidsHelpPhone.ca also has an app! The Always There app provides a password protected space for you to log your feelings, flip through a ton of youth-submitted tips, inspirational quotes, and jokes aimed at helping you cope with stress. You can access tipsheets offline on a variety of emotional health topics and more. Finally, the app can also connect you directly with a Kids Help Phone counsellor over the phone, or through Live Chat. Available free on iPhone, Android and Blackberry.
