The VCH Sea to Sky Mental Health & Substance Use Services team are here to help and support adults (19+) with mental illness and/or addiction, and youth (13+) concerned about or experiencing an addiction issue.

Are you 19 and older concerned about:

Serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression, behavioural disorders, severe dementia

Concerned with an addiction issue such as substance misuse or an eating disorder

Senior with concerns around memory and other cognitive functioning

Are you a youth 13-17 concerned with or experiencing an addiction issue such as substance misuse or an eating disorder?  A referral is required by your school.

Our services are free and confidential, and include:

  • Assessment and treatment planning
  • Counselling
  • Employment and education support
  • Referrals to other supports and resources
  • Wellness groups
  • Consultation and education to community groups and events
  • Needle exchange/harm reduction
  • Take home Naloxone

Best First Steps

If you are experiencing a mental health or addictions emergency, call 911 or go directly to emergency. For youth concerned about/experiencing an addictions issue such as substance misuse or eating disorder - please get a referral from your school. Ask a trusted teacher, counsellor or clinician at the school.
