Peak House is a no-cost, voluntary, ten-week, live-in treatment program for teens of all genders (ages 13-18). Our mission is “supporting BC youth & families to find freedom from problematic substance use” — and we've been doing this since 1988.

Young people are often captured by narratives (eg: institutional labels, diagnoses, traumatic experiences, criminal charges) that tell only a tiny part of their story. At Peak House, everyone is invited to become the author of their own life. We call it Re-Authoring.

If you know a young person engaging in risky substance use, please let them know: there really is a safe, welcoming, nonjudgmental place where they can get help. We are fully funded by our regional health authority (Vancouver Coastal Health), so we provide services at no cost – and, most importantly: we have beds available now!

Self referrals accepted.
